MTI 403 Exam Chair (ADA Compliant)

The MTI 403 Exam Chair delivers quality, comfort, and functionality in a fully-powered exam chair designed for specialty healthcare environments. Featuring powered lift and backrest functions with Soft Start/Stop motion control, the 403 provides smooth patient positioning while reducing caregiver strain and improving the patient experience.

Designed with a low-profile base and manually actuated 323° swivel top, the 403 offers excellent patient accessibility and allows caregivers to work comfortably from multiple positions. The chair's durable all-steel frame supports patients up to 550 lbs. while maintaining exceptional stability through adjustable leveling glides and a wide, sturdy base.

Unlike the MTI 461, the 403 utilizes a fixed-position stainless-steel looped footrest that provides reliable patient support while maintaining a simple, economical design. Flip-up floating patient arms improve ingress and egress while remaining comfortable as the chair reclines.

The MTI 403 comes standard with EasyView™ chair-back mounted membrane switches, two programmable positions, a home-return function, removable upholstery, and a non-articulating oval headrest. Additional headrests and accessories are available to customize the chair for a wide variety of specialties and procedures.
